The end of the world is nigh and signs are there for all to see, thus says Limbe District Dorcas Women of the Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) Church.

Dorcas Women have evangelised in Chiwembe, Blantyre for 14 days.

Dorcas Women is a women’s guild in the SDA communion and Limbe District comprises Chiwembe, Limbe, Chigumula, Newlands, Mpanga, Namame, Chimbale, Chinguluwe and Nyaka SDA churches.

In an interview, leader of the guild, Lucy Kafuwa, emphasised that the social and economic challenges people are currently going through signal the end of times; hence, the need for every believer to assume responsibility in proclaiming the gospel.

“The evangelism crusade aims at preparing everyone for the second coming of the Lord so that there’s no one to say he or she didn’t hear the gospel,” said Kafuwa.

During the 14 days, residents from Chiwembe, Misesa and Angelogoveya were treated to spiritually-inspiring sermons and songs from female choral groups.
